We started out with a visit to Jackson Street in Harlingen. The first Saturday of every month they close off the downtown Harlingen area for craft/flea market items along with food and entertainment. This was our first time to make it there, the weather was great.
We enjoyed an early Valentine's dinner on February 13th at Milano's, our favorite Italian restaurant.
Below are pictures from Bensten State Park in Mission, TX. It is well known for the beautiful birds and is part of the World Birding Centers. Jerry did the park Segway tour with Belinda on her bike burning calories. Jerry did several other Segway tours, one on South Padre and one in Port Isabel this season.

The Fig Tree men
did a great job serving all the ladies at the annual Fig Tree Women’s
Luncheon. The ladies were very creative
with their spring hats and the fashion show was a great success with the latest
in garbage bag attire. Very creative and
colorful.
We enjoyed Willie’s Barbecue after a fun happy hour at the Snow to Sun RV Park line dancing to Diego and the (Tomato). Willie’s has one of the largest stuffed baked potatoes we have ever seen, great barbecue.
Circus Day’s was
the annual theme day at Fig Tree. We
started with a Golf Cart, Segway, bicycle and pedestrian Circus Parade through
the Park followed by a Golf Cart Poker Run.
There were a variety of games to play, contests to participate in and
lots of great circus food. We had great
weather for all the fun. Jerry was the
“Thin Man” and Belinda was the “Bearded Lady”, what fun!!
