One of our first stops was
Colletti’s Italian restaurant in Harlingen
We did the Moran Boot
Factory Tour. It was very interesting to
see cowboy boots being hand made out of every material imaginable.
Jerry was anxious to get out
to South Padre Island for a day of Segwaying
and beach time.
Theme Day this year at Fig
Tree was the 1960’s. Great fun was had
by all including a Joint (parsley) rolling tournament that Jerry won. Great costumes and dancing.
We did several Segway tours
this season with Fig Tree folks. This
one was at the National
Butterfly Center
We did the Rio Grande River
Boat Tour with many of our Fig Tree friends.
It was very eye opening to see the Mexican side and lots of resort
activities on their side.
We had a great day on the
beach playing Bocce Ball and Washers.
Great friends, weather and food/snacks made for a great ocean beach day.
