2018 - December

Martha’s Date Farm Tour, very interesting and educational.  The date shakes were also delicious.

Algodones, Mexico Snowbird Welcome Back Party.  Lots of freebies, T-shirts, vanilla, margaritas, etc.

December's Howling at the Moon, another great party.

Yuma Electric Light Christmas Parade.  Over 100 entries, it was awesome to see.

Welcome party for Jean and Randy, again, no pressure parking the rig.  We really do have a great time with these welcome parties.

Lunch at Lute’s Casino, a very unique restaurant in downtown Yuma.

Trip to Palm Springs, CA  area to go to the best bathing suit shop we know of, Glossy’s in Palm Desert.  It was worth the trip.  We stopped at the Salton Sea and the Thousand Palms Oasis Preserve in the Coachella Valley.

A big hit with everyone was the Tamale Festival in Summerton, AZ.  A great way to try many different tamales, beef, chicken, shrimp, spinach, corn, date, strawberry, pineapple and the list goes on.  We ate our way through it.

Denise and Daniel cooked us an authentic poutin lunch, a Quebec specialty.  French fries covered with BBQ sauce (tasted like brown gravy) with cheese curds on top.  They were very delicious.

We all enjoyed a stroll down 55th Street for their Christmas light show.  Lots of new ideas for Christmas light decorations.

Christmas dinner was delicious with our group of 16.  We danced for a couple hours after dinner that helped burn off a few of those Christmas dinner calories.

We had a lot of fun and got lots of exercise between Walk-Fit, Yoga, Line dancing, Bocce Ball, Ping Pong, Pools, Hot Tubs, and the dances.

We ended the year with a great New Year’s Eve Party at the Hall.  Danced the night away!  Happy New Year all!
